…. there is something so poignant and powerful about these human appendages in clay, suspended in air. We are so totally familiar with the language of ‘dust you are and to dust you shall return’. But to see this visualized in such a profoundly simple way is almost heartstopping. The fragility of life is here–and also the creativity, the observed quality of our transitory existence.
